Here are a few sites put up by friends and family which we enjoy visiting.
Bob Lantz's Site
Bob (in Nashville) originally set up the original VW bus site to follow that month-long trip (which we mirrored on this site. But, alas, it is no longer on his site. He also used to have some good VW links over on his site. Now only a crab photo exists. Check back to his site. He may get more information posted soon.
Sister Susan and her Quilling
Susan Sitarz has been going almost blind for over a decade while she developed her "quilling" artistry in miniature. And sure enough, now she has a site to explain those unique and beautiful art forms.
Scott and Beth, the basketmakers!
This is the personal site for the operators of the www.basketmakerscatalog.com basket making supplies site. This link goes to their other personal site describing life beyond the frontiers of basketry which includes wildflowers, fishing, motocross riding and more.
David Brown's Canoe Classes
David Brown has been teaching canoeing and repairing canoes for many years in the Washington DC area. If you are looking for competence and personal attention during your canoe training, this is an excellent place to start. (One time, a decade ago, David got a paddling permit for the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho. Within 3 days we pushed off as a party of only 2 tandem canoes, self-contained for 100 miles of wilderness whitewater paddling. Hot springs at almost every campsite. The best canoe trip I have ever made!)
Old Time Radio
And when you're stuck at the console of your computer doing some long and tedious surfing, simply crank up the "Old Time Radio" and listen to a few vintage chapters of The Shadow, Gunsmoke, Escape, and much much more.
